Style...

At Olin, movement is life. Many clients visit for help with specific ailments, such as structural imbalances, headaches, overuse injuries, and low back pain. Therapy is excellent for immediately addressing pain, while also acknowledging lifestyle, psychological, emotional, and energetic contributors. The goal is to develop a healthy nervous system through maximizing structural integrity and joint freedom while eliminating or greatly reducing pain.

Structural Integration

Structural integration uses deep kinesiological knowledge of how the body moves, in conjunction with deep tissue therapy to release large muscle chains within the body from head to toe. Slow, myofascial techniques are used to allow the body to reintegrate new muscle memory to form good posture and healthy kinesiological movement.

Applied Kinesiology - Touch for Health

The touch for health system of applied kinesiology connects muscular weaknesses with the vast wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through muscle testing, and other soft tissue evaluations, clients can explore the holistic intricacies of the mind, body, and spirit to create healthy lifestyle changes.

Swedish

Traditional Swedish massage is a very fluid, relaxing style great for wringing out everyday stress and worry. By turning off the "fight or flight" stressful state of the body, the nervous system is unburdened of damaging hormones and allowed to heal through the "rest and digest" state of being. The classic strokes of effleurage, petrissage, friction, and tapotement can be delivered lightly or very deep; allowing your body to be smoothed, kneaded, and reformed at a pressure you will love.
